What is HUD-60002 Form?
HUD-60002 form, also known as the Section 3 Summary Report, is the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development form that should be submitted in order to report yearly accomplishments concerning employment and other economic opportunities provided too low- and very low-income persons under Section 3 of 1968 Housing and Urban Development Act.
Who fills out HUD form 60002?
The Section 3 reports must be filed by direct recipients of HUD funding that is subject to Section 3 requirements for each type of covered funds received on a yearly basis during their reporting period.
When is the Section 3 Summary Report Due?

The filled out HUD 60002 Form must be filed along with the HUD Annual Performance Report form.

In case the filer is not required to submit the performance report, they must complete and file the HUD-60002 form no later than January 10.

If the grantee received funding for a project that expires before December 31, Form HUD 60002 must accompany each annual performance report and be submitted within 10 days of project completion.
Is the Summary Report accompanied by any other forms?
The Section Summary Report must have strictly defined attachments, including copies of the contracts that were executed within the reporting period (as specified in Item 8 of the HUD-60002).
How to fill out the Section 3 Summary Report form?
The Report is strictly divided into 3 parts:
- Part 1 — Employment and Training;
- Part 2 — Contracts awarded;
- Part 3 — Summary.
